Young Enterprise and Manpower Deliver Success Skills

Young Enterprise Northern Ireland will provide local high school students with work-readiness skills, thanks to the dedicated assistance of Manpower employee volunteers. Young Enterprise and Manpower® Inc., a world leader in employment services, have launched a joint initiative to provide young people with essential employability expertise through the delivery of the hands-on educational programme, Success Skills.

Success Skills helps students learn how to find, get and keep a job, and guides them to develop personal strategies to achieve lifelong learning and career goals. The Young Enterprise programme is a natural fit for Manpower’s focus on helping individuals and businesses choose their way in the contemporary world of work, and is highly relevant to the challenges businesses face today around the development of human capital. Success Skills helps young people succeed in the new global economy and a fast-changing workforce driven by knowledge, information and innovation.

Success Skills helps students prepare to navigate the changing currents of an uncertain economy, enabling them to chart a course for personal and professional success,” said Valerie Ingram, Chief Executive Officer of Young Enterprise Northern Ireland.  “In its efforts to deliver this valuable programme to as many young people as possible, Young Enterprise is extremely fortunate to be able to partner with Manpower, a global organisation that plays a leadership role in defining contemporary work practices.”

”Manpower is dedicated to supporting individuals and businesses in the changing world of work,” commented Mark Cahill, Managing Director of Manpower UK. “A company’s greatest asset is its people and their skills, and bringing 60 years of labour market expertise to the Success Skills programme, Manpower is proud to be investing in our future workforce.”
