We are marking our 30 Year Anniversary this year! Celebrations are kicking off with a Fundraising Dinner at the Culloden Estate and Spa on Friday 16 September.
The action-packed evening will begin with a champagne reception and four course meal. This will be followed by a live auction conducted by Young Enterprise NI Ambassador and Vice President at Groupon UK & Ireland, Jim Eastwood. Auction and prizes include Six Nations rugby tickets and a night at the Culloden for two, with dinner and tickets to the Lyric theatre in Belfast. Music from local band The Jukes will continue the anniversary celebrations late into the night.
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible on the night to support the delivery of their Entrepreneurship Programmes over the coming academic year. The organisation develops the entrepreneurial skills and aspirations of young people aged four to 25 to ensure they leave education prepared for life and work. Working in partnership with education and business they engage with 90,000 young people across Northern Ireland each year.
Young Enterprise NI Fundraising Manager, Jennifer McGivern, said “It is only with the support of local businesses that we are able to give young people a head start in their careers, forging strong relationships between classrooms and boardrooms. I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who has donated a prize for the auction and raffle.
“For every £10 raised we can offer a young person the chance to explore and develop their skills through a hands-on business experience. We want to make Northern Ireland one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world, and with the funds raised from this event we can take another step towards that goal.”
