Find the Volunteering Style That Suits You
At Young Enterprise NI, there are lots of ways to get involved. Whether you want to mentor, deliver, speak, or judge – your experience can inspire the next generation.
Enterprise Advisor
Support and mentor students as they set up and run their own business.
Advisors guide young people through the challenges of entrepreneurship, sharing real-world knowledge and encouragement as they develop their ideas, manage their teams, and experience what it’s like to run a company.
Inspire Speaker
Inspire with your story.
Join a class as a one-off guest speaker to share your experiences of the world of work. Whether you’re an expert in your field, have taken an unusual career journey, or can offer insights from your sector, your story helps young people see the many different paths available to them.
Session Host
Deliver a YE programme and share your experiences.
Bring enterprise to life in the classroom by delivering one of our programmes (Ourselves, Our Families, Business Beginnings). Using our ready-made resources, you’ll lead interactive sessions while also sharing your own career journey. This is a hands-on way to inspire curiosity and confidence in children at the very start of their learning journey.
YE Challenge Judge
Encourage achievement and celebrate success.
Be part of the excitement by judging student competitions such as Trade Fairs, Dragons’ Den, or the Business Beginnings Challenge. As a judge, you’ll listen to pitches, ask questions, and provide feedback while encouraging young people to aim high.
