Each Young Enterprise Programme is tailored to its specific age group. They help raise awareness, building understanding, giving students the chance to apply their skills and model their competencies through starting their own business.

Foundation

Through storybook characters students learn about the ‘world of work’ and the importance of saving, earning, decision making and teamwork.

Delivery options; 

  • Digital / Blended – 5 x 40 minute sessions which can be completed in the classroom via YE Academy

  • Volunteer led – 5 x 45 minute sessions delivered by a YE Volunteer who takes the students through the programme whilst sharing their work experiences

Entrepreneurship

Students discover how people and business operate within their community. They will look at the people, shops and services which make up a community, what contributes to a good community and get introduced to tax and voting.  

Student Group: KS1 (Primary 4) 

  • Digital / Blended – 4 x 45 minute sessions which can be completed in the classroom via YE Academy

  • Volunteer led – 4 x 45 minute sessions delivered by a YE Volunteer who takes the students through the programme whilst sharing their work experiences

  • Face to face delivery by a YE representative
    (2.5hr Session)
