What is the role about?

your organisation for volunteering with Young Enterprise Northern Ireland (YENI).

You’ll help connect colleagues with rewarding opportunities to support young people in schools across Northern Ireland - building skills in enterprise, confidence and work readiness.

What will I do?

✅ Be the main point of contact between your organisation and YENI

✅ Share volunteering opportunities with colleagues

✅ Encourage staff to get involved

✅ Help coordinate volunteers and link them with YENI

✅ Keep everyone informed and prepared

✅ Celebrate and share volunteering success stories

How much time does it take?

⏰ Minimal time on ad hoc basis

Volunteer opportunities vary, but typically include:

  • 1–2 hours for post‑primary classroom sessions

  • 45 minutes x 5 sessions for primary schools

  • 1 hour every 2–3 weeks (Sept–March) supporting Year 13 students for the Company Programme

As a Volunteer Coordinator you’re fully supported
