As part of My Money Week, we will be delivering a live online money challenge designed for Primary 5 pupils to develop practical money skills in a real-life context. Working as a class, children are given the task of planning a school trip by calculating costs then deciding on a suitable price to charge to make a profit or break even.
Through quick discussions, decision-making, and interactive responses, pupils learn how budgeting, pricing, and profit work together, while building confidence in applying maths and financial thinking in an engaging and meaningful way.
