My Money Week: Pricey Pizza Party

As part of My Money Week, we will be delivering a live online money challenge designed for Primary 6 pupils to strengthen their financial capability skills through a fun, real-world scenario. Pupils take on the role of planning a “pricey pizza party,” where they must work out portion sizes, calculate ingredient costs, and decide how much to charge each person while staying within a budget. 

Through quick decision-making and interactive discussion, they explore key concepts such as budgeting, cost control, and pricing, while thinking about challenges like overspending and making sure everyone is catered for. The activity encourages practical maths skills and helps pupils understand how money decisions work in everyday situations.
